Our Mazak Optiplex laser cutting system allows us to cut sheet metal parts out of several materials, including mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum up to 3/8 inch thick. Designed for ultimate speed and accuracy, we use this cutting edge technology to deliver quality parts to our customers quickly and cheaply.
At Langley Manufacturing, we mainly utilize our waterjet cutter for materials that cannot be cut on a laser. Waterjet cutters are capable of slicing through virtually any material, be it steel, glass, rubber, or even paper. Materials approaching one foot thick can even be cut with a waterjet.
Because sometimes flat profiles aren’t enough, we use brake press machines to bend sheet metal parts into a new dimension. Our machine stores measurements from previous bends for calibration, so each bend makes the next more accurate. In addition, we use 3D modeling software that automatically compensates for material distortion in the bending process, ensuring that the parameters you specify survive the translation from idea to product.
For smaller parts ordered in high quantity, Langley Manufacturing uses metal stamping machines to produce thousands of parts in a very short time.
More durable than conventional painting processes, powdercoating allows us to protect parts from the elements with a stylish finish. Colors can be mixed, allowing us to powdercoat your parts in any color you desire.
